We brought home a negative from latest trip to Long Beach with the intention of trying to get a decent positive. Unfortunately, the negative has a serious damaged streak from top to bottom down the middle. All in all, though, it came out good enough that we should be able to figure out who this is. Any ideas?

See the other edits I did here, starting with the scanned negative then first positive then retouched positive and finally a small crop I made just to make it easier to see who this is.

Having seen Yosemite in the fall, we just had to go back to see it when the flowers are blooming and waterfalls flowing.

That's Half Dome behind us on the left and Nevada and Vernal Falls on the right. This shot was taken from Glacier Point, about three thousand feet above the valley floor.

While visiting everyone in Florida last week, we had a picnic at the park with Misty, Chris, Will and Sara. A few of us walked out to check things out from the observation tower that looks out over the gulf and the park. Will was fascinated with my camera so I let him take a couple of shots. The first are of what he was sure were alligators in the water. The second was a family portrait he took with some help from Chris. Great job, Will!

We had a great time last week visiting with all our family in Florida. Sadly, we missed seeing Kaili enjoy her first Easter egg hunt but Papa got to spend his birthday with her again this year. Sounds like we have a new tradition!

You might have heard... a week ago a fireball came scorching across the North Texas sky. At first there was speculation that it had something to do with two satellites that collided in space the week before but by Monday experts had cleared things up - the fireball was a natural occurrence, a large meteor. With that, the local media decided to do an update and figured who better to help explain than the folks at the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science. Guess who was on duty? While Josh, Jess and Kaili were here, we made a trip out to see Donna and Lisa's place in Royce City. They have clearly done a ton of work on it and obviously have a deep love for all the animals in their care.

Oh, and it was very entertaining watching Josh and Brian riding Choca!
